A comment on the question "facebook account disabled" in Facebook:
Rudy you are one of the lucky ones. My FB account was disabled on June 2nd and after 3 months still no sign of getting it back. All I was doing at the time was sending F/R's to people I found in a forum for RC a Playfish application. I really hope everyone like you who has resolved their FB issues give us less fortunate people a hand, thanks!!! – Antonietta, on September 01, 2009 22:11

In the long run Facebook might get a bad reputation but it doesn't help me get my account back, on the contrary, they may have black-listed me for good! – Antonietta, on August 21, 2009 23:01

I have received 2 emails saying that my account will not be enabled because according to FB
Facebook accounts are meant for personal, authentic usage only and should reflect mainly your "real-world contacts." As such, fake accounts are a violation of our Terms of Use. This includes accounts that exist solely for the usage of third-party gaming applications, as well as users that maintain multiple accounts to gain an unfair advantage in these applications.
While we realize that certain third-party applications might encourage users to create multiple accounts, send out form messages, or make posts on other users' Walls, we cannot make exceptions to the policies we have in place.
Please be aware that we take the appropriate action on any violations we encounter. If there are any accounts like this on the site currently, it is only because they have not yet been removed.
Unfortunately, we will not be able to reactivate this account for any reason. This decision is final.
Thanks for your understanding,
Gabri

Facebook
the thing that makes me angry is the account was in my real name, I even offered to send them a copy of my birth certificate as proof. They're are milions of FB users and I have seen double and triple accounts and names such as Marsh Mallow that are clearly fake yet they continue to be on FB its really outrageous! – Antonietta, on August 19, 2009 19:33

Joanne I'm even closer to 60 then you are, I'm 48...I'm really upset about having my account disabled, those Playfish games are really addictive and from the forums I wrote in I wasn't the only adult playing...I really miss my Pet! – Antonietta, on August 19, 2009 15:40

I tried sending a report through the BBB:
10 days ago Facebook disabled my account because I violated their terms of use, while this is probably true the reason is I got too caught up in certain Playfish games in particular Restaurant City and Pet Society. The way these games are structered you must have many contacts to gain points so I may have posted too much in their forums and sent too many F/R's in a short period of time and Facebook mistook my actions as being spamming. I have also spent money to buy coins in Pet Society, coins which I am unable to use now. I have sent many emails to both Facebook and Playfish but all I get is automatically generated emails.
This is the final risult:

Thanks for what I'd like to know. FB obviously doesn't care about getting reported to the BBB and most likely just red flagged my email address so I probably have no hope of ever getting my account back! – Antonietta, on August 19, 2009 07:24

Kel among the many emails I've been writing to are also included the 2 you mentioned. You were one of the lucky ones, I wish I could get a second chance, it's embarassing to grovel but I've been doing that too! – Antonietta, on August 18, 2009 19:05

Joanne I so know what you mean. I've been sending emails since June 2nd it's almost 3 months now. All I did was play a silly game. If their terms of use are so strict why even allow these games on the platform when in many cases in order to gain points you must add alot of friends? Isn't the whole point of FB to connect people? Who are they to say how many friends I can add or delete in a day? If they don't receive a complaint from someone how can they judge my actions as harassment??
A comment on the question "facebook account disabled" in Facebook:
FB's criteria for disabling accounts is really without sense. I've seen some applications and photos on FB that are definitley soft porn yet they do nothing about it. It's very frustrating!!!! I only hope someone big like Google or Microsoft buy them out, maybe then FB will become a serious outfit and get rid of their stupid terms of use. – Antonietta, on August 18, 2009 18:11
A comment on the idea "Class action lawsuit against facebook for disabled accounts?" in Facebook:
I have tried begging and threatening but I'm afraid in same way my account has been black balled too. If they answer me they are only standard automatically generated emails. The frustrating thing is one seeing all these people getting their accounts back in such a short time and two all the obviously fake named accounts that are still on FB, and you can tell from a mile they're fake. My only mistake was putting my account under scrutiny because I sent out too many F/R's for a silly game! – Antonietta, on August 18, 2009 17:44

Thanks Noeline, like Joanne I'm going to write to the emails you wrote to. Good luck for the both of us Joanne! I know of someone who got his account disabled and reinstated 4 times. Another person I know has 3 accounts in the same name, same photo. For some reason it seems like my account has been black-listed, I didn't do anything wrong, it's so frustrating!!!! – Antonietta, on August 18, 2009 17:07
