I had this same question; Joe's answer didn't help - links opened in a background tab in FF, but FF still jumped to the front. I think what you're looking for is preferences, behavior, "Links sent to default browser: open in the background". This emulated the behavior of NNW for me. – apeacock, on August 18, 2009 21:31

How do I add a transaction without using an account?

I paid for a friend's dinner with cash, but when I went to put the IOU into Buxfer, it forced me to link it with an account. In order to not throw off my checking account balance, I had to make a fake cash account. Is there a better way to do this?
