OpenID sign-in in Xing applicationI tried your new OpenSocial-based Dopplr application in Xing - unfortunately it asks me for my email address and password, which is too bad since I am using Dopplr exclusively using OpenID... Where is the OpenID login button in your Xing application?-

Will Fire Eagle integration overwrite more precise location infos? The Dopplr webpage for the Fire Eagle integration says that it will update my Fire Eagle location once a day while I'm on a trip. What happens, though, if I manually update my location with more precise information while on the road?
For example, if I have a trip to Berlin planned and when there I update my location to "Main Station, Berlin, Germany" at Fire Eagle. Will Dopplr then come along and overwrite this location with the less precise "Berlin, Germany" or will it notice that the former already offers more information and leave it untouched? In my opinion, this should be the right behaviour, anyways. ;)

Celia's reply to "Changing home city affects previous trips... or not?" was just promoted to the most useful! ar and 2 other people think it's one of the best replies.
Hi Ivan
Glad you're enjoying Dopplr! If you change your home city it will not affect previous trips. But it will change for planned and future trips.
So if right now your home city is Liverpool, and today you change it to Tokyo:
- a trip you took last week will have Liverpool as your home town
- any trips in the future will show Tokyo as your home town.
Cheers
Celia

Hello
Thanks for your reply! For me, name and Rebtel number for each of the contact's phone numbers plus Rebtel operator / SMS number would be sufficient.
The only other thing that comes to mind that could be added is the Rebtel cost of a call to each of these numbers, but for me that's not really important.

I just had a good idea myself, just in case anyone else wants to print out a contact list as well: The mobile version of Rebtel (m.rebtel.com) opens in a regular web browser and provides a nice "Show all" view of all contacts and their Rebtel phone numbers. This list can be printed and is actually quite close to what I was looking for.
Not a sexy solution, but it works. Still, maybe you might want to consider adding a "Print" button to the regular web contact list. ;)
ar asked a question in Rebtel on December 12, 2008 21:25:
Calls to iNum numbers?According to the iNum webpage (www.inum.net) you are an iNum partner and I should be able to call iNum numbers using Rebtel. I can actually add a contact with an iNum to my account and it is correctly recognized as "iNum, Landline", but when I try to call the assigned local number I just get the busy signal (even though the iNum should be valid).
Is this a known problem or am I doing something wrong? I think the "free calls to iNum numbers" is a very exciting development! Since iNum's are not really integrated into the PSTN yet, being able to get a local number to call my iNum contacts from Rebtel would be just great.
