I just about totally stopped submitting stories because someone more who had submitted "more" stories or was more popular with the staff would get picked for the board, meanwhile the 30 min I spent researching the sources of the story, getting a great graphic and adding something to it, were totally wasted.

I just got sad and burnt out.

I very much agree with Joshua's statement! People look at things from all different points of views and this point of view may take some education for some of us to become savy --- but it will be enriching.

"I would love to curate an Anthropology Channel where anthropology news and news dealing with anthropological perspectives are highlighted and discussed!"

These women are in prison for looking into N.Korea with a camera.
They are not coming home any time soon. I don't know why Current.com doesn't allow us to post the current news on them so we can show our love for them.

I had put up a few stories that were fact checked and cross checked many times before even posting the stories to make sure everything was accurate. Still current.com thought it was correct to take down the stories every single time I put them up.

I found that to be very sad, Laura as done very much for Current.com.
What is even worse is that they have started to run pods where she is on the air, leading people to believe that she is back on the job, not in prison.

For those of us who do get our news from the internet, we know what's up. But it's sad that Current.com seemed to abandon their own employee.

We have our prayers and thoughts with Laura.

I think that I had requested this to the powers that be quite a long time ago. But HEMP and Cannabis should have different topics within the CHANNEL. One is a textile, the other is a DRUG. Treat them as such, they are not the same.

The THC levels are so different that someone could not possibly get high on HEMP if they smoked a whole field of it probably. Well maybe, the entire field at once. But seriously.

And yes, please, do make this another part of current.com as the topic tends to invade and dominate other parts of current.com that it really shoudn't.

Again I still think the textile should be put as a subject in the Cannabis channel. They need to be set aside.

The get you high side and the this is what we will use to make America stronger Textile wise part. They can be in one forum, just two topics.

Please give the people that really NEED to talk about the weed they scored last night and how rad it was or the skunky stuff they are growing in their yard and how sweet the buds are... and the awesome pods on hydroponics... face it people that do weed want to talk to other people that do weed and they like to talk about the stupid stuff they do on weed. They should have a place to do such ...

GIVE IT TO THEM PLEASE.

I would like to participate in what current.com does.
I believe that the exchange of ideas doesn't happen as much as it should. Too many are "stuck" and don't think for themselves. It will be good to see people either feeling less threatened by peer pressure to react a certain way OR to let people grow and find their own truth in life. That would be freaking awesome!
