areseven asked a question in TwitterCounter on October 29, 2009 20:35:
How do I export statistics? Is there a way that I can export historical statistics from TwitterCounter?
I can see follower, friend and user counts for the last three months through the TwitterCounter interface, and I used to be able to get daily statistics from the API, but there are large holes in the statistics. I can go in to the interface and fill in the holes one by one, but that's pretty tedious.
How would I go about this? Thanks!-

Well, I found my problem: when I moved my iTunes library from my computers hard drive to the external hard drive, it did move all the music files, but it didn't move the iTunes Library and iTunes Music Library.xml files along with it. It kept those on my computer's hard drive and updated my library with those files. When I went to import the library, I assumed that it was the xml on my external drive, which was actually the old one in there somehow. So I just pointed it to the xml one on my external drive.
Seems obvious, but just in case anyone else has this problem: check the xml file to make sure that it's the one being updated.

I'd love this built in to Songbird as well, but for those of you who can't wait, you can always use Airfoil, which will allow you to send audio from any application to your speakers via Airtunes:

It costs $25, but I've found that it's well worth it. Support good developers! ;-)-

The vast majority of my library is either downloaded from the Amazon mp3 or emusic stores or from ripped CDs.
This isn't really the same question (I had seen the other one) since the difference between 7948 and 8009 is not really the problem. The problems are that it's not even finding all of the songs in my iTunes library, and what it is finding isn't actually there.
My iTunes library functions just fine, so I'm not sure why Songbird would be reading information from the xml file that iTunes isn't.
I was excited to see that there's a iTunes library importer, as I assumed it would mean I would be able to try Songbird as fully as if it was my main audio player without having to give up iTunes. So I'm not going to re-import my entire iTunes library. I'll just wait for further versions and hope that this gets fixed.
areseven reported a problem in Songbird on September 17, 2008 01:27:
iTunes Importer does not import or find all songsI've tried to use the iTunes importer feature in v 7.0 and it's not working correctly. My iTunes library is on an networked external harddrive, and I point to the the iTunes Music Library.xml file on that drive. It goes through the import, but then has two problems:
1. It tells me that there was an error: "7948 of 8009 files could not be found", which is a problem in that my library actually has almost 22,000 songs AND that it tells me that the files were in an unsupported format, when almost all of the 22,000 songs are in mp3 format.
2. The files that it *does* put in the Songbird library are not actually there. It shows all of the file's locations as being in a directory that I haven't used for a very long time, and when I try to play them, none of the files will play.
I'm sort of surprised to find that no one else has had this problem, but I wanted to go ahead and mention it. If anyone else has an idea of what's going on, please let me know. Thanks!
areseven shared an idea in Songbird on September 16, 2008 18:00:
Automatically deleting subscription files/smart deletionI love the ability to automatically subscribe to music blogs and have it download the files, but I thing we need the ability to automatically delete these files if they meet certain criteria (such as "rated lower than 3 stars"+"more than two weeks old"). Otherwise, managing the library would get pretty laborious or you'd end up with a massive library comprising mostly of songs you're not necessarily interested in.-
