Ugh, this is old. It is Las Vegas Fabulous with a little editing. Read the page at the link he posted.

Unfortunately, the way it currently works is that everybody gets the same page so it contains every song. It is something they need o do in an actual app update rather than just updating a web page. -

Google can tell you a lot. GoGo Apps is in fact not a new name at all. It has been around since 2008. GoGo Apps is the seller of the apps and tapulous is like the sub-name. -

I have also come up with some more amazing ideas. Okay so one of them is a pretty common idea:
10. Download All button for the free tracks. It would add every free track yet to be downloaded to the queue.
11. Click the queue button and it will show a list of every item in your queue. The background of each list item would be a loading bar showing you the progress of the download. It would slide like a loading bar from left to right but as the entire background
12. Tap Track Wishlist. Now this may be one of my favourite ideas. Basically you add tracks that you want to your wishlist, which are automatically removed if you purchase them. Special Competitions should take place and the winners can choose something from their wishlist or even redeem any track with a tap-track voucher. Of course these prizes should be rare as tapulous need the money to pay for the tracks :)
Also, you should be able to not only recommend tracks to your friends but even gift them to them. A Tap-Track voucher would enable your friend to purchase whichever track they want. Useful for those who are dependant on iTunes gift cards to get app store credit, but this time in virtual form. -

Ideas for TTR 3.1Hello guys. I have been browsing through the Tap Tracks store and have come up with several ideas to make the experience far better.
1. Change the Browse and Games tabs to Free and Paid or Premium. The games section doesn't need it's own tab. If you are going to allow users to import the tracks from other games into TTR3, then you might as well add a link to the games section from within the paid section. This would make the next point easier:
2. Browse By - Free. Finding free tracks can be annoying, remove it and give it it's own page.
3. Change 'Tap to Download and Play' to just 'Download'. It would then queue the song, see next:
4. Queue Downloads. Add a bar at the bottom of the window that shows how many downloads and their progress such as 'Downloading X of Y' and a percentage of how much has been downloaded. Also add buttons to the right of the lists as a quick download rather than having to go to each page to click the download.
5. A 'More by this Artist' button when viewing tracks that will directly take you to a search for songs by the artist.
6. Remove any previously downloaded tracks from the browse lists. It is already hard enough to find tracks that you haven't downloaded. Some that I have downloaded already I accidentally try to download again and it takes me straight to playing it.
You could always add a list of every song and grey out ones you have downloaded too.
7. The back button that will take you to the previous page and not the featured page.
8. Add tabs within the featured page that allow you to see the top 10 free, paid and latest tracks, as well as show the weekly track like it does already. Allow options to show the top 20 too.
9. Free and Paid sections should be slightly modified and look like:
Premium Content: (paid section only)
New Games
Your Games (-> Game Name -> Import Tracks)
Featured:
Staff Picks
Recents (last few weeks)
Mini Albums
Track Packs
Browse By:
Alphabetical
Release Date
Difficulty
Genre
Artist
All (including downloaded)
Your Downloads:
Purchased (paid section only)
Downloaded (free section only)
Each browse by should allow you to search, with the search bar at the top of each list, as some of the pages are already. -

Vertical iPhone = cheatI am not sure if it is only me but in TTR3, when holding the phone vertically, the middle / forward-back shakes and extreme mode shake seem to work automatically. While this is good for extreme mode, the shakes activate early and most likely impact your performance negatively, unless you can't get them to begin with then you are better off. Seems like an important fix. -

Also there needs to be a download all button for free tracks. I would like to not have to spend an hour pressing each app to download when in older versions I could download all and wait for it to be done. -

Wow... Just wow... Nothing much more to say. If you want the original with your own songs then go get the original? This is an app store game not a jailbreak game and it never will be. Revenge is awesome. -
A comment on the question "congrats from tap tap" in Tapulous:
This time don't let the guy with the hacksaw deliver them. When i received the CDs from TTD (I guess they did have to come all the way over from america to UK) the packaging and several of the cases looked as if someone tried to cut into them with a saw. I didn't mind much and the discs were in good condition but let that be a lesson. The guy with the hacksaw may cut through the cases

A comment on the idea "Ads. Switch off wifi first" in Tapulous:
Another option would be to save scores to be uploaded later instead and turning off wifi while playing. But then this creates 2 problems - having to turn it off to go online and tapulous not getting any money because there are no ads displaying, hence the reason for a paid version so tapulous gets some money. Although i guess i could live with it. it's more than those with iTouches get as they can't submit any scores without wifi. – aresinferno, on April 20, 2009 20:29 -

I was not talking about a lite version at all. It's great that they use the ads rather than charging but alot of people really want some of the old songs in TTR1 that weren't added to TTR2 and there are other awesome songs out there. I am saying you could have a premium version that didn't depend on ads. This doesn't make TTR2 lite at all. It just means there are other premium tracks added, like that have been done with Dance and NIN but just as an adless version than a totally new expansion. The problem with the ads is that when i am forced to use gprs or edge, the menus take a longer time to load because it wants to load the ads first. Although for the competitions when the number of entries matters or you need to get as close to a score a spossible then not only highscores are needed. Unless they have some different kind of system for that too. – aresinferno, on April 20, 2009 16:50 -
