This is most likely a file system integration problem -> open Wuala > Tools > Options > Disable File System Integration and restart Wuala. – Roger, on October 03, 2008 14:07

Hi, great job on Photosynth but it's really sad (and a bit disappointed) that an offline viewing option is not available, it took me about 40min to synth 188 photos but I have to wait 35hours to view them :(

We have not been able to find a reason why on some x64 FSI crashes and others it works fine.

I've rechecked everything, and Wuala is working now with the "nojlan" option and the whole wuala directory copied from 32 bit windows. I hope it'll work stable now.

P.S.
I would be nice to create a simple installer allowing user to create account and make some settings before launching main wuala app. It could also detect the type of operating system and disable functions that don't work :)

yes, but only if you have the time to do so and the client doesn't crashes before.

szwarek, christoferw: Add the line "nojlan" to your Wuala.cfg (use windows search ..). This disables file system integration.

I'm 99% sure FSI the cause of the javaw exception.
I don't know if FSI is the inital cause of the crash.

It takes 15 Seconds to hang? Can you go to options and disable File System Integration in that time? Assuming you made an account on your 32bit system.

I checked if this can be an infinite loop and I think it can't (because it eventually finished with an error message). When Wuala crashed process called dumprep took 50% of CPU power (100% of one core).

Maybe just have a tick box with, "upload whilst processing?" and if ticket Photosynth processes and uploads at the same time otherwise it just processes it without using the users internet connection.

I myself live in the sticks in the UK and my broadband isn't exactly fast :( It can take a good few hours to upload a large Photosynth and then after all that I see a simple mistake which I can correct it then takes all that time again.

I know it's early days and I think Photosynth is awesome, so much potential! You guys have done an amazing job, I will be keeping a close eye on the developments! :)

Wuala window just freezes. There is no error message. I can't even move the Wuala window. I can only press ctrl+alt+del and kill the app.
