Positionning and a toggle menuHi,
I'd like to be able to chose where the istats items appear in the bar. For instance my clock is not a the top right hand corner which is a little bit confusing.
I sent you an email (before to see you had a getsatisfaction) about a dropdown menu to toggle services (growl, time machine, bluetooth, lock the computer, never sleep...). Have a look to Caffeine to see what I mean.
Thank you for your great software !

In the sidebar you have your feeds, and by default in a category, all the unread feeds are displayed. I'd like to chose wich feed I can display or not. In my IT category, there are sites I like to read every day and some other I like to read only if I have time. A display feature, just near each feed in the sidebar, would solve my issue (which is absolutely not an emergency, I would prefer to see filters first ;) )
Is it clearer ?

The right sidebar pushed at the bottom of the pageHi,
My sidebar (the one with the feeds list) doesn't float right, instead it is pushed to the bottom of the page.
It results in a very long scrollbar, and I have to scroll down to select a specific feed.
About the feed list, I talked to you about a filter feature, what could be good is also a display feature. For instance after the unread feeds you could put an eye on which we would click to display or not a particular feed in a category.
Thank you for your great job.

Lazy loadHi,
Here is a feature I'd like to see. I have some feeds I read really fast as they are composed mainly of images. What I would be really pleased to see is a lazy load (e.g. http://www.appelsiini.net/projects/la...) function we could configure.
For instance, in the config you set load X post after the one I'm reading. Thanks to what the reading would be much more fluid.
Thank you for considering my request and keep doing great job.-

Netvibes-like previewOne of the best festures of feedly, is the different views. As you know some sites do not provide a feed with all their content (to make us go to their site I suppose). Feedly allows us to preview in a lightbox-way these feeds BUT it is no functionnal.
Another view would be better : two columns, one for the feeds list, the other one for the preview. Netvibes have an interesting preview window.
Thanks

I forgot to talk about something. The dashboard would be even better if we could manage the categories and the name of the feeds.
For now, we have to click the feed, click the top-right-hand corner button and 'Edit subsription'. It is 2 useless clicks. Categories are non-editable (even in GReader apparently but you could simulate it, by creating a new category, changing feeds from category, delete the old category).
Thanks

Twitter clientHi,
Another idea :)
A lot of people try to compare Tweets and RSS. If there is on similarity, I think it is about the way we read them. It would be awsome to have a fully-featured twitter section in Feedly :
- Multiple Tweeter account
- Category (the one missing feature of Twitter is the possibility to group people we follow)
- Filtering Tweets (see my topic about filtering feeds : http://tinyurl.com/lm9za5)
- Post a Tweet : I didn't find any client that provide a good way to tweet. Most of them allow to link accounts (Twitter, Facebook...), but none of them let us chose for each post, where we wan't it to appear.
If this feature sounds interesting for you, I would be happy to give you a fully detailed "guidline".
Thanks

Here are two of the best web-apps for filtering feeds. You could maybe find some inspiration there. If you want help or ideas about criterias or whatever, let me know.

OPML import and managementHi,
I just wanted to import an OPML file a friend sent me but couldn't find where to do it. Is this feature available ?

Add the possibility to set filter for each feed.Hi,
There is a feature I would be really interested in. I suscribe to some sites that over-post. Let assume half of their topics are about graphic design and the other about development. It would be awsome if we could add filters for each feed.
There are web-apps that already provide this kind of features but it is boring to generate a feed from another one with filtering and then suscribe to this new feed.
In the dashboard, you could add near the 'unsuscribe button' a 'custom this feed button'.
Thanks for considering my request.

Multiple tweeter accountsHi,
Do you plan to add multiple tweeter accounts ?
Thank you
A comment on the problem "No checking/confirmation for "mark category as read"" in Feedly:
For sure it would be better to allow undo support but as the API doesn't allow it I really think a confirmation would be nice.
To make everybody happy, maybe could you add to settings "Enable/Disable confirmations".
What do you think about it ? – Arkante, on May 15, 2009 00:11
