Two of the three files play video. This file, sample_iPod.m4v, plays only audio, and give me the same reduced size screen as I am experiencing with my .MOV files. I've attached the screen capture.
The file opens directly in QuickTime if I choose to open it from within Windows Explorer, but with a little hiccup, first showing the reduced window as shown here, but then opening the larger window with a title showing "Untitled" instead of the file name. It also opens (with some delay) in iTunes, but shows the title (file name) correctly.-

Quicktime player is updated automatically with Apple updater. Moved QuickTime Movie filter to the top of the list in Preferences prior to asking this question. Other movie formats that play in Windows Media Player play just fine. But with .MOV, it's audio only. -

The asset is catalogued, a thumbnail image is created from the file, but when I double-click the thumbnail, I get a small preview window that plays only the audio track, with no video. I can open the file directly in QuickTime and the file plays fine.
