The "try it now" button on the front page doesn't work on Linux, and <del>crashes</del> <ins>locks up</ins> my browser trying. :(

Ubuntu 8.10, Firefox 3, 32 bit.

Still, cool project.

Thanks Simon. I've pretty much worked out how to extract the data I want, so now it's more a matter of putting together a front-end. I'll definitely take up your offer next time though. :)

I'm writing a Wordpress plug-in that'll show your location/geodata, and I'd like to try and update it in close to real time. I read somewhere that BC updates once every three or so minutes, so is that a reasonable update interval for the http-bind API?

API Access (help)?

I'm trying to get my location out of the system using PHP and the HTTP-bind gateway. I've worked out how to initiate a session, but I don't know how to get anything more than my suburb. I'm wondering if someone could clue me in as to how to do this?

In particular I'm looking for the stanza that'll return me a <geo> or something. Is there a trick to this, or is it not available through the API?</geo>

Or even better, have the option to hook into OpenStreetMap. The data's getting pretty good in major cities, and a spatial interface would be pretty rad.
