Its great that we can purchase in Spotify, but for some, they may never want to do that. I agree that the 'purchase' button clutters the nice clean interface. Good idea.

I just posted this as a suggestion myself- sorry for the duplicate! I was so excited that I found the ideas section that my notion spilled forth.

Play files from local music library!

Hi,

An idea for Spotify. It may have been suggested before, but here it is again.

It would be fantastic if I could use Spotify as my sole media player; if it could access local files- so when I search for music, it also searches my local library. This way, if it isn't available on Spotify, it can play from the hard drive instead. Or, it could also play the local file rather than stream to save on bandwidth.

This way, I wouldn't have to swap between Media Player and Spotify.
