I wonder if this is an interface design problem on the App itself. Perhaps remove the "Create Spot" option from the main screen, force users to only check-in and be presented with list of spots sorted by proximity, then offer the option to Create Spot in that screen... – ASimba, on October 18, 2009 18:54

It's weird. If it's not a major city, the web spot finder shows up in the middle of the ocean!!

Well, most Canadian provinces rival in size to most European nations. It would make sense to have provincial stamps in addition to country stamps. Well, I was thinking on the spots you created/found, have a switch in the App similar to friends where you can toggle notifications. That way, you can get informed on what's happening at key spots you're really curious about. – ASimba, on October 13, 2009 15:30

Have an option to have push notification for spots that you "found"? ...or would that be too many notifications? Not sure if this needs to be a generic setting that blankets all founded-spot notifications (placed in user settings), or individual setting for each spot.

I think if you responded to a friend request on the web, the friend might only show up on your app once there's activity from said friend... (ie., next time they check-in).

I wonder if it'll be useful to have push notification for friend requests...?
