Atef replied on November 02, 2009 10:11 to the question "Help we are lost!" in BT Tradespace:
Thank you Smile Hair,
Tradespace search engines use site content to index the sites, so it's important to populate and add good relevant contents onto your Tradespace site, from your business description, to products, to photos and blogs.
A weekly blog is a great way of ensuring that your site remains active and more importance will be placed on it by the Tradespace search engines.
Therefore we would recommend to regularly update and add fresh content onto your Tradespace site,
Also, to be surfaced more prominently is to invite and encourage your customers to rate your products and write reviews,
We fully appreciate how frustrating this issue is for our customers. We have worked hard to resolve this issue and are confident the changes we have made on the fabulous improved site we are releasing shortly will have removed this problem.
In the meantime the suggestions we have previously offered should help. We appreciate this is not the instant resolution you may have hoped for but we believe the changes that coming are going to be worth waiting for!

Atef replied on October 08, 2009 09:20 to the question "Marketplace Listings? How-To?" in BT Tradespace:
Thank you Humberto,
Market Place is a new feature within the BT Tradespace Service, it forms a core part of BT Tradespace and is designed to showcase products and services on offer from our individual Tradespacers on BT Tradespace portals;
Steps should be taken:
All our Tradespacers have to do is, update their content and offering to be sure they make the most of their Tradespace.
For example, you can:
-check your postcode for the local search
-categorise your products/services in new categories
-add pictures to showcase the products/services
-add new products on sale,
- continue writing blogs and adding other content...
For more information about our content surfacing rules can be found at: http://faq.bttradespace.com/how-do-i-...
Please note that recent changes and activities on your site may take up to 48 hours before the change is reflected and the business starts to appear in the search listings pages.
You can aim to be surfaced more prominently in other areas by encouraging your customers to write reviews, rate your products and services and continue to add fresh content to your Tradespace site. A weekly blog is also a great way of ensuring that your site remains active and more importance will be placed on it by the Tradespace search engines.
