Atef replied on July 16, 2009 15:09 to the question "Can't find Products!" in BT Tradespace:
Thank you Loretta,
Please note that recent changes and activities on your site may take up to 48 hours before the change is reflected and the business starts to appear in the search listings pages.
All our Tradespacers have to do is, update their content and offering to be sure they make the most of their Tradespace.
For example, you can:
-check your postcode for the local search
-categorise your products/services in new categories
-add pictures to showcase the products/services
-add new products on sale,
- continue writing blogs and adding other content...
For more information about our content surfacing rules can be found at: http://faq.bttradespace.com/how-do-i-...
You can aim to be surfaced more prominently in other areas by encouraging your customers to write reviews, rate your products and services and continue to add fresh content to your Tradespace site. A weekly blog is also a great way of ensuring that your site remains active and more importance will be placed on it by the Tradespace search engines.

Atef replied on July 13, 2009 08:08 to the question "Chaning locatin address doesnt seem to work" in BT Tradespace:
Thanks Girlsgottohave,
Firstly, we're sorry for the inconvenience caused by this issue where some locations are not mapped out correctly.
Causes could be due to the data entered in the address fields text boxes incorrectly, and would advise on re editing your Business Location address and modify according according to the following settings:
1) Address 1 Field; should always includes the street address ( if address 1 contains a building name, move this to address 2 field )
2) The Primary postal Town should always be in the town filed, NOT in address 2 filed or address 3 )
3) Area Post Code should be complete and correct (e.g. AB1 2YZ )
By moving address fields around will correct your Map-Pin to the correct Location on the map
Click on "Manage my Tradespace" button (located above the site logo or top right of the page). Under "Quick and easy things to do" section select "Update your company contact information". Edit as necessary and click on "save your information" button at the bottom of the page.

Atef replied on July 03, 2009 13:50 to the question "why can I not find my trade space ?" in BT Tradespace:
Thank you Ruppel Joshi,
Please note, that any updates that you make to your site may take up to 48 hours before the data is indexed by the Tradespace search engines. Tradespace search engines use site content to index the sites, and for newly created sites It is best to search by using the first search box only leaving the “in Location” second search box empty.
The information about our content surfacing rules can be found at: http://faq.bttradespace.com/how-do-i-...
Please make sure to include key-words that potential customers would use in their search criteria, i.e. among the Logo name, the tag line, on the first line of the about us section and the contents too including products and services names that your business provides.
Therefore we would advise that you incorporate any key search words into your "About us" and “blog" sections- where they would fit naturally. This will help to ensure that your site is indexed correctly and more easily found within Tradespace.
A weekly blog is also a great way of ensuring that your site remains active and more importance will be placed on it by the Tradespace search engines.

Atef replied on June 29, 2009 08:14 to the question "What is 'Plug This'" in BT Tradespace:
Thank you Euan,
A 'plug' is when someone wishes to recommend a business or product to others.
If you like a particular blog entry, photo or podcast, you can give it a plug by clicking on the thumbs-up icon. We encourage this, since it helps BT Tradespace users find worthwhile content

Atef replied on June 23, 2009 11:08 to the question "Change of Address" in BT Tradespace:
Thank you Nathalie,
please note that you Tradespace account is based on your logon name in the form of an email address, and once this logon name is issued it can't be changed or edited...etc as it a unique name to enable login and admin tasks.
However each Tradespace site has a business email section to enable potential visitors to the site to contact you on, and this business email can be changed at any time,
We would advise to leave the Logon name as it is and change the business email by going to "Manage your Tradespace" area then "Company Contact Information” section and changed the business email field box entry there, saved changes and exit.
Kind regards

Thank you Hephzibah,
Please be advised that once a site has been deleted the system does not allow for its resurrection. Therefore, if you wished to use the site again anytime in the future it would require the setting up a new site with a different URL.
We would advise on deactivating your site for now, Please follow steps below to deactivate your BT Tradespace site;
Once logged in, go to “Manage my Tradespace" button
Click on "Account details” tab then click on "Site Settings” tab
Click on “Deactivate” button then on “Disable Ratings” button
Save settings.
Should you wish to cancel your site and account, then send us your account details i.e. Logon user name & the Site URL ( site name ), and we will process the cancellation on your behalf.
