@boris, yes, but smartlist must be created ... and then deleted again. And you dont see the results in realtime. That would be a great profit: I type: "rock" and then see in the resulting playlist: oh, too many Metallica. Then i just add "no metallica" and they are gone. Now I see, the playlist is a little bit to hard&heavy so I add "some blues" too it and "shuffle". If I would do this with the smart-lists, everytime i set a playlist for my current mood, i would get crazy. Playlist are just too static, even smart-playlists.
I know, it's not easy to implement, but i think it would be worth a try.
The idea in general isn't new, take a look at "ubiquity" from mozilla-labs. Perhaps you could copy some principles from it.
