Same here. fired up the app store and searched slideshare expecting at least two or three options but none. Surprised and wish I could build it!

Oh yeah, btw, we've been working on an updated Invite + Guest Manager tool that will be available soon. We'll take your feedback as it comes in, and see how it lines up with our new tool (we're making it much much better!)

I also had one guest reply online and that was not fun because she didn't want all her information given out and had a hard time entering stuff when she felt she didn't want email from companies.

Hmmm...anyone else having any troubles? I am now emailing ALL those I sent invites to so they are aware that they do NOT have to reply online and register in order to attend. This would be a BIG turn off to many people who I know would otherwise love to come!

So, I guess my "site" will look like people 1) didn't get invites and 2) never responded other than one person! This is unfortunate as I expect a big crowd!

[Not entirely true Nutmeg... You can RSVP for your guests, if you know they're coming. Go to your Guest Manager, and in the list next to your guests name, choose their RSVP status for them!]

How can we make the House Party experience better for you?

We're rethinking a lot of the pages and features of our party platform, but really need your input. We'll be sure to give you credit for the ideas you share that turn into something we use. You'll be famous in the House Party world (ok, so it's not like being a Hollywood actor, but it's still pretty cool).

also, you're second idea about 'splaining yourself about why your party either didn't happen, or looks like a dud on the site is another great suggestion.

Glad you like the new home page, but bummed you're feeling left out! The fact that you've changed your screen name might have something to do with it, we've actually had lot of folks creatng multiple accounts in order to get more than one party pack, so our system checks for multiple addresses/accounts, and sometimes folks with good intentions like yourself get filtered out in the process. Another reason is that, since there are only a limited number of host slots for each event due to the cost of shipping party packs all over the country, we've been trying to let folks who have never hosted an event before in. We're looking into ways that we can have a higher number of hosts per event, and we'll be sure to notify everyone when we figure it out!

yes ttop, this thread started two months ago, but we officially opened the doors to it only yesterday... so... Welcome! and thanks for the great idea about indicating what number applicant you are when applying for an event... we'll add it to our list!

Well, hopefully you've at least got to host one or two! At this point, we're limited on the number of hosts we can have per event, due to the cost of shipping party packs all over the country. And lately, there have been a TON of applicants for our events. I do hope you keep trying!

We're really pushing hard to improve a lot of stuff over here, and Party Favors and Party Pack items are on the list for sure. Totally appreciate your feedback. Did you complete the survey that was in our most recent email specifically about party favors? Here's the link, if you've got ideas to make it better, we'll work with our partners to make it happen.

We know you and other hosts spend a lot at your parties, and that's one of the main reasons we want to improve the party favors + party pack stuff!
