That makes sense Mario, unfortunately that puts the ball in Twitterfeed's court to fix the bug.
I can try deleting and re-adding the feed if you think that would help.
Thanks again for your prompt and knowledgeable replies. – Augie, on July 24, 2009 16:48

Turning the feed back on resulted in the same behaviour : repeating that one message over and over. Any other ideas? – Augie, on July 23, 2009 20:07

My TwitterFeed to identi.ca is looping over and over.My TwitterFeed to identi.ca is looping over and over.
I'm feeding @sonicnet_status (http://twitter.com/statuses/user_time...) to http://identi.ca/sonicnet and it just keeps repeating the second to last update.
I've turned the feed off for now, but I would like to turn it back if it wouldn't repeat it self like this.
A comment on the question "Where does a tweet that's too long go?" in Twitter:
The twitter.com user interface will not allow you to input more than 140 characters.
Only three dots (ellipses) that are links at the end of the Tweet will show the full message; if the ellipses do not look like web links then they won't take you anywhere when you click on them.
If you click on the time stamp of the Tweet, then you will see the full message.
If you want to send more than 140 characters to Twitter, then you must use some other form besides the twitter.com text box.
I hope that answers your questions. – Augie, on February 28, 2009 21:56

Sonic.net releases a few good Blogs. For the last few weeks we here at Sonic.net have been working on setting up a few new Blogs to increase transparency into our company and keep our customers and the public at large more informed about our latest developments.
These Blogs are:
The Sonic.net CEO Blog - http://corp.sonic.net/ceo/ : Postings from Dane Jasper our CEO.
The Sonic.net Insider Blog - http://corp.sonic.net/insider/ : The inside scoop on the goings on at Sonic.net.
The Sonic.net Internals Blog - http://corp.sonic.net/internals/ : The technical internal workings of Sonic.net; a blog for System and Network Admins.
The Sonic.net Status Blog - http://corp.sonic.net/status/ : Messages on the current status of Sonic.net’s systems and equipment.
For ease of use you can see the latest content from all these Blogs aggregated at http://corp.sonic.net/blogs/ with links at the top of the page to the other Blogs; clicking on the title of a post will take you to the original posting where you can then leave a comment if you like.
It is our hope that these efforts along with other efforts will increase the communication and transparency we have with our customers and that that improved communication will improve the experience that our customers have with Sonic.net.-
