Always sync ALL playlists, instead of just checked playlists.

Another option for syncing to ipod shuold be added. I hate that I can't just sync all my playlists. My ipod can't hold all of my music so I want to just always sync ALL of my playlists. Currently, you have to check any new playlists that you add when syncing.

I need this. I just need it to sync my library changes. Mainly my playlist data. I use a sync tool to keep the two music folders synced on my LAN and then songbird auto-adds the songs, so the only thing that gets messed up is my playlists.

So my vote is for playlist sync.

Moving profile from one computer to another. Not working.

Okay so I backed up my profile on my old computer a month or so ago. I decided today to setup songbird on the new computer. After installing the latest version of songbird and copying all of my files over the default profile, nothing shows up except concerts and radio.

No library, downloads, bookmarks, etc. What can I do to at least recover my playlists? I tried opening up one of the DB files but they look like they are actual SQL and not just a text file like the itunes library.

I've tried opening profile manager and deleting, creating, recopying files over..many many times. Any suggestions? If I could somehow get my playlist data from my old profile it would be GREAT!

I was on my way here to report the exact same problem. I've tried turning on repeat with shuffle but that doesn't help. I'm not 100% sure but I think this happens even when I am not using shuffle. Mine always does it on AC/DC song, so maybe it's because of the "/"? Mine just totally stops playing when the song changes. It sits at 0:00 and says it's playing. Pause/play does nothing but double clicking the song works. This happens almost every 2-5 songs for me.

How do I force library refresh?

I transferred some files from one computer to another that was doing it's first scan of my music library. During the scan one particular album only scanned in half of the songs. I want to force a re-scan of this directory or artist. Is this possible? I've tried closing songbird and re-opening..think that it would recognize the new songs, but it never does. How do I make it check for new songs?

Smart playlist reading external data, such as song ranking or popularity

Smart playlists should have the ability to download data off the internet to make even smarter playlist. Such as automatically adding songs to a playlist based on popularity on iTunes or some other source.

I believe this would be a very strong feature for Songbird. It would be easy to show my friends this feature and tell them they should switch from iTunes to Songbird. Then again, there are about 100 things I could already show them!

Sync libraries across multiple computers

How can I sync my entire library across two computers? I can keep the files synced using other tools but I cannot think of a way to keep the libraries synced if the drive names are different on the two computers. For example, on one computer the library is on the C drive, but on the second it is on the G drive. Is it possible to keep these synced without manually modifying the database for paths to music files?

Well I had to totally uninstall friendbar because hulu was terrible but the second I uninstalled friendbar it worked perfectly. Let me know if it gets fixed and I'll be back!

When using friendbar video playback is choppy and has major issues. Once disabled, all flash based streaming video works great.

It might be some other extension that in conjunction is causing this issue so here is a list of currently installed extensions:

I'm going to disable all extensions besides friendbar to see if problem persists. I'm running Windows 7, Firefox 3.0.6, Core 2 Duo 1.8ghz, 3gb ram.

Ok well after disabling everything but friendbar it seems to be doing alright. I'll start re-enabling my other extensions and see how it goes.

Hmm well I renabled everything and uninstalled Greasefire (never used it) and all is well. I'm not sure if greasefire was causing this issue or not. Bugs suck.

I lied, it still isn't working. Whenever the bar begins to slide a new message across it causes the video to straight up pause and audio to stop until slide is complete.

Is it possible to just show new updates? I get sick of seeing the same stuff scrolling across the top of my browser. I would love to be able to remove the toolbar but just have a little notification box popup similar to when you send an update. I hate extra toolbars!

Will the Blackberry Storm be supported on release this Friday (Nov 21)? I'm trying to prep for my first smartphone and need to figure out if inserting all my contacts into Gmail is a good idea or a waste of time.
