ULTRA 105 Slient Install?

When Deploying Ultra105, it does not install in "silent" mode. In other words it displays the setup screen to the user when I deploy. How can I fix?

I think the updates are wonderful. I agree, my feeling would be different if it was a more involved process.

The June 23 Version (I believe in conjunction with the script) fixed it!!!

Steve - When I ran it on Vista it said this as soon as I ran the script. However, I noticed it was because the script was looking for "Documents and Settings" like iin XP. So, I removes the reference in the script to the "Documents and Settings" and included all the files from the VNCScan "Jobs" directory and it seemed to run without error. However, it still did not allow me to deploy and get the winvnc.exe service running on the remote machine.

Gives me a System.IO.Directory not found exception. I am runnign Vista.

Yes... I am using the Push install as necessary, as it is the only thing that will work. Though it does not seem to push teh Ultra104, like I want it to.

The only reason I have done this is because the Ultra104 service will nto install and let me make a connection.

When I use the "Push Installation" the command box disappears when it is finished running. I am runnign the Push install as a connection option in group preferences.

I have tried this. The problem is that everything looks to be installed correctly, except for the "winvnc.exe" (Ultra104 Service). The service will simply not install, even after several reboots.

Is there a script that will do a complete Ultra Cleanup?

This is on a fresh install. The ORL directory is created on the Push install of 104. Any ideas?

Also, when I do a push install, VNCScan seems to install the 1.0.2 version even when I am trying to do the 1.0.4 of Ultra. I can tell because it will create a service "winvnc", not "winvnc.exe" and it install to the "ORL" directory.

The initial install was done through the website. All services of old VNC versions were removed. The last one on their was a service of name "winvnc.exe", which is installed when you install UltraVNC 1.0.4 RC.

UltraVNC Service will not install after manual instance was removed. I had UltraVNC 1.0.4 installed on a few machines and tried to uninstall using VNCScan. This seemed to work, but upon running the installation through VNCScan, the winvnc service will not install on the machine. . I have tried rebooting several times and even tried deleting the service manually, running the UltraVNC uninstaller, etc.. to no avail. Please help!

I just end up with multiple services installed. I have not been lucky getting that function to remove a manually installed UltraVNC RC1.4 or Real VNC Free Edition...

I end up with multiple services running: "winvnc", "WinVNC", and "uvnc_service"...

Any thoughts? I would like to blow all other instances out and start from scratch with VNC Scan. I just purchased the license and it looks great.
