I agree 100%. I'd really like to be able to click on one of the hourly blocks on the "Time Spent" widget on the Dashboard and see that broken down into an hourly view which shows which apps, sites, tags, etc. were used minute-by minute over that hour so as to get a good overview as to how time is being spent.

ok, so apparently, this isn't coming back. Perhaps a different suggestion? Just because something is tagged the most, doesn't mean it's the most important thing, so why not pick the top 10 things in terms of TIME rather than number of tags. Email has just one tag, but it is SOOOO important. Meanwhile, news sites have a million tags, just because they are spread out.

RSS feed giving no results and has strange textThe RSS feed seems to be empty. it says:
Tags object goal: > 0.5 hours per day
status: not met (no time)
I have 5 or 6 goals, and they were showing up, but aren't anymore
Joe's reply to "Distinguish work within the same application - using regular expressions?" was just promoted to the most useful! axechief and 2 other people think it's one of the best replies.

Cool...good explanation...it's strange, though--email, my biggest tag in terms of time spent, is not on the list. Do you mean top tag in terms of number of items tagged?
For me, I'd prefer having all options available--some days, I spend a lot of time on something that is not a top tag, and I'd like to see the hourly pattern. I know i can click to the tag itself, but I want instant gratification! :)

We actually trimmed the menus to keep the "noise" level down (huge menus are hard to deal with)-- we figured that most people wouldn't want to slice stuff that wasn't among their top tags. Maybe we were wrong-- I'll dig into the feedback queue to see if other folks have the same concern.
Stay tuned!

tags in "Time Spent" are not all availableAll of the tags in the "time spent" graph are not available. I have close to 30 tags, but only 7 or 8 show up in the "slice" dropdown box. Any ideas on what may be wrong?

I agree with moving the categories to the bottom--I'm pretty meticulous about my tags, and while it's interesting, I'd rather see my tags first... – axechief, on May 18, 2008 23:51
