ayjay asked a question in Todoist on October 12, 2008 23:43:
formatting syntaxI know how to format links in Markdown. I know how to format links in Textile. But if I want to use Todoist I have to learn a *third* formatting syntax, which seems to be a combination of the two. Why is that? Why not use one of the existing ones?-

ayjay replied on April 14, 2008 00:16 to the question "What's the relation between Stikkit and Sandy?" in I want Sandy:
It seems to me that they lend themselves to very different approaches. While you can input data on Sandy's website, it's really oriented towards using email (or twitter, or messaging) both to send and receive data. Stikkit, by contrast, works best directly from the Stikkit site, though there are other ways to get your data into Stikkit. In my view, this means that Sandy works best with your cellphone, Stikkit with your computer. Since I work from my computer much more than my phone, I strongly prefer Stikkit -- it's very awkward to do a lot of things in Sandy that are easy to do in Stikkit -- which makes me sad that Stikkit will no longer be developed. What I'm trying to find out is whether it will continue to be *maintained.*-

ayjay replied on April 14, 2008 00:10 to the question "Sandy and Stikkit together is What I really really want" in I want Sandy:
I have a feeling that the Values of n people ignore any post with the word "Stikkit" in it. As has been said in other threads, this tends to make some of us worry about the depth of the company's commitment to their other products. Not that they have to continue to develop Stikkit, of course, but I'd feel better if they answered some questions (here, if not on the abandoned Stikkit forums).-

ayjay reported a problem in I want Sandy on January 21, 2008 16:04:
Twitter parsing error?Via Twitter, I sent Sandy a message along these lines:
d s r do so-and-so next Monday at 8a
Sandy replied:
I got do so-and-so (Mon., 1/21/2008 8:00am)
But that time is two hours ago. Shouldn't the word "next" have indicated to Sandy that the reminder is not for today, and certainly is not for a time in the past?
