i used to use gotomeeting, and it was a pain because mac users cannot show me their screen. Also, it did not look that nice. =P
I am working on a new web startup, so i do a lot of remote user testing - i ping one of my friends on IM, and then i get him to use my web app while i observe.
Improve... it can definitely be snappier i think. GotoMeeting still feels faster. Also, the user interface still can be made more obvious. Some functionalities like share mouse/keyboard are very powerful, but it is certainly not obvious unless you are familiar with such screen sharing software.
Moving on, integration with some tool where you do screen/voice recording would kick ass too. Have you seen jing yet?

Ed replied on May 29, 2008 18:09 to the question "Is there a Google groups API?" in Google:
I too would like an API for Google Groups. Here is my story...
I live on Bainbridge Island near Seattle. We have a volunteer group who helps the parks department build and maintain hiking trails. Here is our web site: www.bainbridgeislandtrails.org. People want to be on the e-mail list but they don't want to have to create an account somewhere. We don't want a discussion list, we just want an e-mail list for announcing when the next trails meeting is and only a handful of people can send e-mails to the list. The web site is currently using Dada Mail for the e-mail list but I am not super happy with the usability of that. I would use an API for Google Groups to allow the web site to subscribe and unsubscribe people from the group without requiring the user to have a Google account.

The hover state of the link is part of the Top 5 Outgoing Links widget and cannot be turned off. Remove this widget code from your site's template to deactivate it.
MyBlogLog has other widgets for just tracking if that's what you're interested in. Visit the Widgets link for your site to learn what's available.

A comment on the idea "Private messaging users" in Get Satisfaction:
No, Christian, it's not. Let's say I create a fake product under "Brightkite" called "second life" because I wanted to make an association in my post with second life. (using a real example here, this fake item exists). I can't report that the item is fake and that the user MEANT to associate with Linden Labs' Second Life. I have to e-mail eric to get it fixed, which is silly when a report button could let a random active admin take care of it. – Thomas, on May 19, 2008 04:02
