Laurap replied on November 14, 2009 13:22 to the problem "Missing Link!" in O'Reilly Media:
Hello,
There's a link in the left hand sidebar on the catalog page link you mention called "Examples".
It links to:
http://examples.oreilly.com/978059652...
There you'll find the following files, including MJAndroid.zip
[ ] AndroidUIDemo.zip 12-Aug-2009 09:37 56K
[ ] MJAndroid.zip 12-Aug-2009 09:37 2.4M
[ ] dialing-example.zip 12-Aug-2009 09:37 54K
[ ] example_android.tar.gz 12-Aug-2009 09:37 2.7M
[ ] example_android_2009..> 12-Aug-2009 09:37 2.2M
[ ] telephony-example.zip 12-Aug-2009 09:37 105K
I believe the link to the specific file you want is:
http://examples.oreilly.com/978059652...
Please let us know if this doesn't work for you, or if MJAndroid.zip isn't the file you're looking for.

Hello Robert,
Thanks for reporting this issue. It looks like validator results suggest there's a problem character -- and there is! Sometimes these types of characters don't process properly in our feed generation, causing an invalidated feed result.
We'll take care of it shortly, and thanks again for your fast report.
Laurap replied on November 26, 2008 21:23 to the problem "Why do you need to put those windows overlaying your articles?" in O'Reilly Media:
Hello,
I tested the page in question via Litmus in the following browsers:
Explorer 6.0
Explorer 7.0
Explorer 8.0 Beta 2
Firefox 2.0
Firefox 3.0
Safari 3.1
Explorer 5.0
Explorer 5.5
Firefox 1.0
Firefox 1.5
Opera 8.1
Opera 7.5
Netscape 9.0
Safari 3.1
Flock 0.9
Sea Monkey 1.0
Safari 2.0
Netscape 7.2
Camino 1.0
Camino 1.6
Konqueror 3.5
Google Chrome 0.2
The page tested fine, no problems with the right hand sidebar.
In IE 5, our site appears blank, but there's no problem there as IE 5 is no longer a supported browser.
In Opera 9.5 the Recommended For You box doesn't render, but the page displays fine, as does the sidebar.
I'm wondering if this could be a problem with your specific browser / cache / setup -- in which case I would recommend clearing your cache, closing your browser and re-viewing the page.
Or, it may be a problem caused by a specific item we're placing in the Recommended for You box. The items recommended for you are highly specific for your particular browsing experience, and in this case I'd love to get a screenshot so we can look at the items being recommended to see if we can track down any problems with those items.
Thanks for your patience, and I look forward to receiving more info so we can track this problem down and fix it.

Sorry for the inconvenience!
We're in the process of updating various O'Reilly feeds and the feed lists page.
The new atom feed for this area is:
http://feeds.oreilly.com/oreilly/xml
We'll have the redirect from the old feed to the new feed set up shortly. And by tomorrow you'll see the feeds page completely updated with all our new feed addresses.
