Songbird too much for old machines?
I have an older machine (Pentium 4, 1 GB RAM, XP SP3). Songbird is very slow to load, and not responsive. Is there a lite version (or alternative) - maybe an older version? Foobar works fine, but doesn't seem to have the library features I'd like.

Note, I have about 15,000 FLAC and some MP3, but Songbird is really slow even before adding anything to the library. (Of course, so is MediaMonkey 3, and it's ugly to boot :-)

    Reset the library
How do I erase or reset the library?

I renamed my storage device. All the same stuff is in the same place, and the IP address is the same, but the friendly name has changed. How can I either delete the library so that I can rescan, or tell it the new location?

Couldn't figure out how to edit my post, but I solved this.

The problem turned out to be that I was using a slightly higher dpi, fonts, etc.in both versions of Windows. The second Xmarks wizard window had to be blown up to full screen before I could see the 'Next' button in the lower right. I had tried full screen WIDTH, but it needed more vertical room as well.

XMarks install freezes in firefox 3.0.10
    Firefox 3.0.10 - Xmarks won't complete installation.

I have tried clean installs of Windows 7 RC and Windows XP SP3, both with Firefox 3.0.10. When I install Xmarks, it pops up a window that says "click here to install" (or similar). It then pops up a second window that says

" Thank you for installing Xmarks!
You now have web discovery features built right into your browser.
Next, we'll help you setup Xmarks to backup and synchronize your bookmarks. "

After that, nothing happens. First, I put it down to Windows 7, so moved back to XP. But the same thing happened again. Everything else (other add-ons) works fine. In both cases, fresh installs of the OS, plus anti-virus and Firefox only.
