Referral contest questionHow/where do I find my personal referral link?
Was it the one sent in the email about the contest?
babyrocasmama replied on October 26, 2009 08:31 to the problem "Can't import comments into Blogger after IntenseDebate uninstall" in IntenseDebate:
I also uninstalled ID because i could not import my blogger comments (over 1 year's worth) into ID. I saw nothing notifying me of this before I did the install. Then I couldn't UNINSTALL ID using the automatic feature on the site, nor could I get the instructions to work correctly (they are sorely lacking in details).
I was left with either no comments block at all in my template or no comments at all after a year's worth of work if I kept ID.
i have had a few comments today, finally found a way to uninstall ID, but can't import the most recent comments back into blogger.
PLEASE HELP. This is not cool. Or right.
I just want my template and my comments back in Blogger form.
PLEASE??-

This fix does not work. I now have a blog that si missing over ONE YEAR'S worth of comments. PLEASE FIX THIS. I have sponsors and readers that will not be happy about this. AT ALL.
Your instructions really need to be more clear. Do we ONLY remove incidents of
<!--start intense-->
OR
<!--end intense-->
Or is it ANY reference to intense?
STEP BY STEP is what we need. This version leaves far too much to chance.
babyrocasmama replied on October 25, 2009 21:07 to the question "I don't see an option to Import Comments under Blog Tools..." in IntenseDebate:
So is there STILL no way to import your existing comments back into blogger after installing IntenseDebate?
I want to use this service, as I greatly dislike Disquis, but with no way to import over a year's worth of existing comments, that is just not cool. Especially after the first question and response was asked/given almost 1 year ago.
When will this be fixed?

babyrocasmama replied on August 26, 2009 12:23 to the question "JS Kit/Echo not letting readers comment or sign in w/own domain name" in JS-Kit:
It is not duplicate content, it is that if i take Echo off my site, all the comments left by my readers have MY NAME as the author using the blogger comment form. You can see that for a brief second while echo/comment luv is loading here: http://mylastshredsofsanity.blogspot....
Also, the comment count does not show at the end of my posts, even though there are some.
AND now ALL my customization of Echo has disappeared.
I have been getting messages since I installed this that people are having trouble leaving comments/singing in. So now I get NO comments on posts that would normally generate 10 or more.
I have had to take Echo off until the problems are fixed. If you look here: http://mylastshredsofsanity.blogspot....
you can see what I mean about the comments all coming out as me. On this post, TWO of them are from Andy @ Comment Luv but once I take off Echo, it shows the author as me.
Also, for those that did get their comment to go through, they are not linked at all as blogger comments normally are (author name is usually a link to their about page or site)
This is very frustrating. I do not want to use Disquis. It's annoying.

Yes, i see the star. i am not fond of it. Can it be changed to another icon?
What i was talking about is the background being a different color for admin than the commenters. I have seen this on WP blogs. A good example is tellingdad.com. His comments have a grey background while everyone else's are green, I think.

Thank you for your help. i do not allow anonymous comments on my site, so I have all the options available to my commenters. It is apparently confusing for them even though I put up a tutorial.
And yes, if I take down the Echo widget, all comments left with the widget appear in blogger as having come from me and not the individual reader.
The Comment Luv portionion of Echo is not working well either.
BTW, is there anyway to modify Echo to make the site author's comments appear different than the others? i have seen this on WP blogs, but cannot find anything for it on Blogger.

JS Kit/Echo not letting readers comment or sign in w/own domain nameMy readers are still having trouble using the JS Kit/Echo Comment widget. WP bloggers cannot sign in with their URL's nor can anyone who is self-hosted or has their own domain name.
I am on blogger. Why is this happening?
Also, if I remove the Echo from my blog, all comments that were previously left show up as being left by ME not the actual blogger

How to change the time/date format in Echo/comment Luv?The time/date format on my EWcho/Comment Luv/JS-Kit is set like this:
how do i make it just say today's date and just the hour and minute?

Where do you put the code for Navigator in Blogger? The second code you get that says "Navigation Code". Where does it go on blogger? In a widget or in the HTML.
And is this why the Comment Luv function isn't working?

How do I disable the wysiwyg editor (for blogger)?I have installed the JS-Kit/Echo/Comment Luv on my blogger blog. People are telling me they cannot comment on the posts when it is installed.
I put in a support ticket and was told to disable the wysiwyg editor. I did not enable it. I used the auto install for blogger and then customized it using the instructions from Wiki.
HELP!!

I can easily find the App Data folder, that is not the problem. The problem is there is no FLOCK folder in the roaming file that is in the APP data folder. – babyrocasmama, on June 25, 2009 00:35
