A comment on the question "Missed Hourly Backup" in Wuala:
This "I sent a copy of the error via the popup." This should be possibly enough to look for an error. The stack includes an ip and yur username btw. So it is a little bitbetter so send it directly to wuala instead posting it here. ;) – bagelcat, on September 28, 2009 03:16

right. I do not see that there is a command at all which shows the connection type. A walkaroung: Enable and configure the Webstatserver with the enableStatusServer command. This allows you to see the stats including the connection type with your favorite webbrowser. :D – bagelcat, on September 23, 2009 10:57

Hi dacapo,

Hi joe,
well, Wuala did not delete source files or any files on your systems except those in Wualas Data and Temp Directory. Im almost sure, this is a problem of the command you have used. I ́m not completely sure that wuala gives an error when not all uploads can be cached. This must be reviewed.
The question is "where" was the insufficient space? Inside Wuala? As far as I see, Wualas network drive always show the corret empty space. And it would not involve the encrypting process when your wuala space is running out.. Wuala will encrypt, but not upload until it has free space again.
Is it possible that the drive for the datapath or temp has run out of space?
Unfortunately, theres no log for Wuala afaik. Maybe you can see in the syslog if you can see somethin.
