Thanks for your reply! I understand that the web interface is pretty basic, but what I wonder is why the DL2 application itself doesn't display checked out books properly if someone else has added you as a friend in DL2. Any thoughts?

Checked out books in published libraries

I have a question about creating a library in DL for other people to view. I've set it up so that all the people at my work can see our company library on their computer's by opening DL and seeing us in their friends list. This works great because it allows them to search, etc. What I'm struggling with is how to show books that books are checked out. I created a smart shelf which pulls all the checked out books and published this, but interestingly, when you view the shelf on any other computer besides the one hosting the library the shelf appears blank. On the actual webpage that's published the checked out books appear just fine. I think it's because in DL checked out books must be handled slightly differently (i.e. normally they're sort of grayed out), but I'm struggling with how to show others what is checked out. Any ideas?

Well, the release notes say that they had to remove the iPhone application, but the sync still works for those who were lucky enough to get the app before it was removed. In fact, I'm doing a sync using the 2.2 beta right now... Awesome.

I'd like to be able to make a smart shelf for all items that do not have a Library of Congress number. It doesn't appear that this functionality made it into 2.1. Am I correct?

I am trying to add these shoes to my Delicious Library: http://tinyurl.com/n3zgxo. I chose the apparel category and ran a search and nothing came up. Then I added a blank item and added the Amazon link hoping that the item details would fill in but they did not. Why isn't this working?

Will the discontinuation of the .Mac HomePage service on July 7th have any impact on publishing Delicious Libraries using MobileMe? I know that right now when you publish to MobileMe it uses a homepage.mac.com extension.
