I would love to see an integration of photos like Brightkite does it. I'm an avid user of Brightkite but I love the gaming aspect of Gowalla -- If Gowalla added photo posting and a more seamless reply/comment system I'd drop Brightkite and use Gowalla 100% instantly.

When we developed Parafoil we had speed in mind, the only way to update the comments count on the stream page is to reload your stream altogether which is slow.

It will in one of the new releases. The release that's out right now is mainly just the framework for the application itself and is very basic. Development has been rather stagnant due to Brightkite's issues recently and the new API changes they have been rolling out.

Now that Brightkite has become more stable development of Parafoil is pretty steady.

Expect a new update with new features within a day or two.

Yep, the inbox is coming with the next release. The inbox will contain your comments and mentions stream along with direct messages. Looking to push that release to you guys tomorrow or the next day.

The functionality for social networking sharing hasn't been added yet; still waiting to hear back from Brightkite on the API calls that need to be made. Brightkite has been holding back the development of Parafoil, working with them at the moment has been like pulling teeth.

Right now, when you load the "find me" page it doesn't automatically locate you, you have to hit the find again text. The flow of this will change in the next release or two, it's just one of the debugging features that hasn't been removed yet.

If I have a pending friend request it does not show up in the iPhone app. Just a blank screen.
