The user bough the exact same subscription (we only have one plan on our site) 3 times. We got emails from spreedly sent emails at:

I do not know the why/how, but we have only one link that just sends the user to spreedly we don't do any of the purchase aspects on our side. From what I can see it did not extend their membership. Just gave them a new ones. -

So i implemented a java api that will create sites, and add/edit/disable subscriber plans. It works somewhat well in my application allowing me to host the UI for spreedly integration. -
