OK - Braindump.....
Web 3.0 and semantic web technologies aren't terms business can throw at users (customers) as web 2.0 was.
What is the unique selling point of Web 3.0 / semantic web technologies?
And can you explain it to me like I was a five year old? (thnx denzel for that quote)
What are the risks?
Like; How to "upgrade" from 2.0 to 3.0 without confronting the users with a developers interface (amazing technology with incomprehensible user interfaces) instead of the polished interaction designer interfaces we have now.
Or; Who owns the (meta/social)data?

An example would be the thought "Future of education".
The results are:
"# city
# College
# education by country
# Engine City Technical Institute
# England
# Future election candidates
# Gold Coast, Queensland
# higher education
# Immaculate Heart High School
# International Student Exchange Programs
# Maryland
# New York
# roads
# schools
# Science Education at the Crossroads
# time
# timetable
# towns
# United States
# universities and colleges
# University
# Yorkshire
"
If I was to surf wikipedia.org it wouldn't be able to find anything either.
But then I would go to the "Education" article.
In the section "See also" I would click on the following topics:
- "Classroom of the future"
- "e-learning"
- "Educational technology"
- "Educational software"
- "Learning 2.0"
- "School of the future"
- "Virtual education"
And the following sections would have a potential if the first section wasn't enough info for me:
- "Collaborative learning"
- "Educational research"
- "Experiential education"
- "History of education"
- "Instructional technology"

Me and a colleague had a discussion about this topic caused by the fact that I wasn't able to get any data out of PF.
And while I was explaining my problem my colleague pointed me on my habit of over thinking the search criteria.
Explaining the different thinking modes is one way to "solve" this but shouldn't the system be able to explore the thought on meta level when no results are available...
I guess that a meta level isn't available either when there are no results...

The history of Europe as a source? Can Europeana be used as a source? (http://www.europeana.eu/portal/)
Bart replied on March 27, 2009 09:14 to the idea "SDK request" in Primal Fusion:
Starting with one or several Flickr images the tags could be used as keywords in PF which will result in more flickr images.
The kids could use a digital surface table (ie. Microsoft or Smart Tech) to order the thought (images) into a mindmap or a "thought-presentation".
The thoughts (images) could also be used in a animoto clip for a presentation in a classroom....
