My fault for not including instruction on this, but for the auto-adjustment to work, you first need to add your name to your Ping.fm profile.

Hmm, it's not working for me. I enabled the "Adjust Grammar" setting, then posted a message. I checked Facebook and saw that my post was not prefixed. I then removed and re-added the app to Facebook and tried again, but it still wasn't prefixed. Am I doing something wrong?

I know everyone wanted to customize exactly what each one says, but we're trying to make this simple enough for the average user. Try it out and let me know what you think.

I'm glad someone suggested this, I think its a great idea - especially for Facebook in my case.

From what I know, Plurk hasn't released an API yet so there isn't a way to pull in your friends' activities.

Just though I'd mention that, when posting a microblog to Plurk I'd like Ping.fm to automagically prepend the text with 'says'.

I appreciate this problem is probably being worked on, but just to add my experience in case it helps identify what's wrong:

I've tried the above workaround (twice now since joining both indenti.ca and ping.fm 24 hours ago), but no joy.

I received the "recover password" e-mail on both attempts, but on clicking the link, my (IE7) browser couldn't open it (It asked if I want to find a program on the internet to open it), so I copied and pasted it into the address bar. It then went to an identi.ca web page, but the page said there was "no such recovery code".

Sorry this is taking so long to implement. We have other things in the queue right now, it may be a few more days before we can start on this one, but we have a good plan for it

what about a small text box before the larger content box that will be the prefix. and below that small text box is the service listed with a check box next to it or enabling/disabling the prefix for that service. does that make any sense?
