Every time we get close to having time to work on this a bunch of other stuff gets piled on top. That said, barring any major surprises, I'm expecting this feature to make it into the release after next (next release goes out some time this week). Keep in mind that all new features are released to VIP members only so they can try it out and give us feedback on it, so I can't say when it will be available to *everyone,* but at least we're pretty close to being able to actually write the code for it.

You guys might be a bit surprised to find that scrobbling support is actually not a very popular feature request according to the surveys we have run; it just happens that those of you who want it *really* want it. Essentially everything that has been given priority over this is either due to working on features that are more popular or more profitable. There are still a few feature requests that are more popular than scrobbling support, but we do want you to be happy, and besides it's a fun project. I'll post an update when the feature has been added to the VIP-only preview section of Grooveshark.

I created the symlink between /usr/sbin/apachectl --> /opt/local/apache/bin/apachectl but VHX still manages to restart the default mac apache install and my compiled one from macports. Does your app use /usr/sbin/apachectl to control the web server?

Yes, the new folder will need permissions to be able to work with Apache.

I second this feature! At our office we have our sound system hooked up to our office last.fm account so people on the internet can always see what our office has been listening to lately We would love to be able to do this with Grooveshark!
