Jenni's conservative. I became a super user by displaying the Bud Lite super powers of:
- talking to animals
- breathing fire
- travelling in time (so I can settle questions early, but be careful not to travel back to Salem. MA in 1692 8^)
- the ability to fly (into jet engines)
Seriously, I don't know exactly what the selection criteria were, but all of us charter super users have devoted a lot of time to policing questions by flagging those with problems, requesting settlement for questions (particularly those whose outcomes had been determined already), participating in the question comments and here at GetSatisfaction in a positive way (recent events nonetheless), creating successful questions (although my EBay Spy Satellite question must've been forgiven), and generally behaving like a good citizens of Hubdub.
I anticipate the number of super users will grow ('cause we're doing such a good job 8^), as will the number of super powers.

I was one of those who had posed a casualty question before and seemed to catch a lot of flak over it in the question comments. I never came here to check out everyone else's opinions. I agree, it is a newsworthy question and probably should be posted. Perhaps one of the problems is that some are concerned about the 'making of money' on the lives of our soldiers. Of course, that would exempt Halliburton and others, but I do understand the point about wagering. So we're into this for prediction's sake, and we can do it purely on a predictive nature. So I'm going to resubmit the question for June using a different time schedule that will allow for less adjusting of the wagers during the month and focus on 'predicting' the news earlier on. Let's see if this flies.

Darn...and I just now realize that you DID 'steal' my Idol question...just kidding, you've done a great job of maintaining it throughout the season...and I remember you 'offering' to let anyone who wanted to write it themselves. The problem with repeating questions is that everyone tends to sit back politely, as we should to some degree, to allow them the opportunity to post their market. But sometimes real life interferes.
Just keep calm about it and don't have a snit-fit...we're a growing community and we can all help each other.

I was wondering what does happen to those who bomb out quickly...it does separate the adults from the kids. In most of the play-type of poker rooms they just GIVE you another thousand when you blow the first allotment. Not that I have any better ideas at present, but I like the idea that ideas are being tossed around.......
