I'm having the same problem! I just installed Twhirl yesterday and I saw the updates/tweets of one of the people I was following. But when I opened it today it opened up two twhirl windows and neither of them show any tweets. Also, I updated it and have the 8.3 version and have adobe air. I'm not quite sure what the problem is, but it'd be rather cool to get it fixed.
At the bottom of the box it also says "limit exceeded, paused 5 min"...

Hi everyone, the just released version 0.8.3 fixes issues with the auto throttling twhirl can perform for your API usage.
But as the limit is as low as 20 at the moment, it's still likely that you will run into limit exceeded problems, because of other clients / apps accessing your account. We can only hope for twitter to raise the limit soon, so the problem will be less significant.
Sorry, unfortunately we cannot do more then trying to keep twhirl's API usage below the limit.

MacBook Pro, running Twhirl, limit exceeded daily, often first thing in the morning. Followed all the steps 1) change password - did not help, 2) turn off FreiendFeed - nope, 3) reboot Mac - looked like it, but noooo, limit exceeded again. Finally, turned off Twitter application in FaceBook - Success! So, I'm back in action with Twhirl, and frankly I don't miss FaceBook at all anyway.
It wasn't Twitter or Twhirl after all.

bear replied on June 13, 2008 23:19 to the problem "Plugin not recognized. Not listed as available plugin to activate!" in Seesmic:
More than likely this is because of the change I had to make when I packaged the plugin for the official WordPress directory.
the name of the plugin changed from 'seesmic-wp-plugin' to 'seesmic-wp' but I did not realize that the directory name was referenced in the source.
I've posted a new version 0.1.5 on the WordPress Plugin site:

Hi Critter, thanks for your reply. I just tried to get into the Ajax (white version) but it will not accept my login name and password. It also will not take my login name with the code I received with the Seesmic invitation sent to me by email.
Sorry about this. Is there anything else you can suggest?
Critter replied on June 03, 2008 11:59 to the question "Mozo" in Seesmic:
We have two interfaces for Seesmic. You can try the Flex (black) version at http://seesmic.com/ or our Ajax(white) version at http://seesmic.com/home
possibly the /home one might work for you...

Ah, thanks for letting me know that. Also, another query. I actually just signed up with Seismic in an Internet cafe. Now, back at home I am unable to view the Seismic page correctly on either my desktop or laptop. I have tried viewing in Flock, Mozilla Firefox and IE7, but no luck. I can only see an empty black screen. I have Flash Player installed, and regular watch Flash movies, and create my own swf movies too, so I am puzzled as to what the problem might be.
Thanks for all your patience. I really appreciate your help so far.

Get Satisfaction... the site we are on now is basically a an outsourced option for customer service. I see the menu you are talking about now. You are under the company/product of Seesmic at the moment. if you are having problems with the Get Satisfaction website you should look at: http://getsatisfaction.com/satisfaction
That is /their/ customer service for this site...

Gee, really, okay I have signed up with the link you gave above. So, what is this where we are http://getsatisfaction.com/?
Critter replied on June 03, 2008 02:56 to the question "Mozo" in Seesmic:
Mary, I am beginning to believe you are not on our system. Our application is located at http://www.seesmic.com. We do not have Home, Company, or Products tabs located in our UI.
