Some fixes in the works

Just wanted to let everyone know what is in the works at the moment.

Making some changes to the Dashboard. First, when you save a review it will be removed from your list of pending reviews. Seems to cut down on the clutter and just felt natural. Your next available review will open, so you can get through pending reviews quicker.

Second, the saved reviews will have the option to delete a review.

Finally, new reviews will automatically be pulled in when you visit your dashboard, instead of you having to push the button. It didn't make sense to have to click "check for reviews" every time you visited.

This is all about 60% done at the moment. I will let you know when it is getting ready to be pushed.

Version 0.2!

A new update has been pushed, this is officially version 0.2. All the issues with pulling in reviews should be addressed.

We have also added filtering to reviews. You can break them down by style, score, or user or any combination of the three. We have also made it possible to look and edit your saved reviews in your dashboard.

As always please let us know if you have any problems with the new features, or continuing issues.

Moving away from search.twitter.com

We are going to be changing how we pull in tweets. Currently we use the Twitter search API, but this is posing problems with regards to since_id. This is the mechanism that helps us keep track of what is a new tweet and what isn't. The problem is tweets expire from the search system so it can stay relevant. This is a problem if some time passes between your latest review and a new one. Instead, we are going to just pull in your public timeline and look for the hashtag ourselves instead of relying on twitter. This should clear up any problems with tweets not showing up. This will take some time but we will keep you updated as we work on it.

We had a problem with how we were storing tweet ids, so the since I'd may not be correct. I will look into it and let you know.

I know, we need searching as well as filtering. Once we have some more testing done and can make sure everything is working well with posting, we are moving on to filtering.

it was actually a bug in the javascript, had a safari console log still in there which broke the script. should be working again.

Usernames and Paging

We just pushed an update that adds usernames to reviews. We also added paging to the front page. The site will load 10 reviews per page, which should help keep load times reasonable. Hopefully this is the right number, but please let us know if loading seems to take too long.

It is definitely planned to add what user posted the review, and also to be able to see reviews by user.

TwitPic image not posted, instead replaced with "[?]"

when posting to twitpic, tweetie sometimes doesn't post the image even though you have not exceeded the character limit, instead inserting a question mark in brackets "[?]." It should throw an error instead of posting the tweet.
