Actually, in playing around with Convertbot, I just found where the Clear button was "hiding". I thought I'd post an answer to my own question, in case anyone else is looking for the same thing...
There is actually a Clear <c> button on the calculator keypad. It's an alternate button to the Backspace button. All you have to do to reveal the Clear <c> button is to tap the = sign. </c></c>

Adding a Clear button to the new calculator?I like the new calculator in Convertbot, It's a great additon.
Might you be able to add a clear button to the blank spot in the lower left of the calculator keypad? Using the backspace button gets to be a pain when clearing longer numbers.
Beil asked a question in Evernote on September 11, 2009 04:51:
Is it possible to make new notebooks via the iPhone app?The subject line pretty much says it all. I'm new to Evernote and do most of my note-making via my iPhone.
Is it possible, or will it soon be possible, to make new notebooks via the iPhone app? (It seems like a pretty basic function to be missing from the app.) Or must I use the website or computer-based program to do that?-

Hi Lisa, Has the updated guide been released yet? I'm looking at the iTunes App Store now and the version there is .98... Is that the version you were referring to above or is there a new version coming soon?
I ask as I am going to Rome in about a month and have the same questions/concerns as Leonardo above.
Thanks! – Beil, on August 12, 2009 17:48-

I'm with Bricoleur & Piotr. It's quite disappointing to see hear that a suggestion is on a "list" somewhere but never actually makes it to the app. And IMHO this one is a biggie (see my comments on it above). By keeping the supposedly/partially helpful keywords in, it actually makes this service HARDER to use intuitively. Which, with all the competitors out there, means it doesn't get used.
Beil marked one of Bricoleur's replies in reQall as useful. Bricoleur replied to the idea "Strip Keywords".

Thanks Tony. Needless to say I've been sending some rather odd messages to people due to spell-checker guesses on that (invisible) last line. – Beil, on July 16, 2009 18:49
