Here's what happens:

I'm scrolling up my tweetstream using my keyboard reading what people have to say. Someone says something I want to respond to, so I hit the reply shortcut (cmd + r) to reply. The reply box appears, I tweet and hit enter. To continue scrolling up using the keyboard up arrow I then have to /click/ on my tweetstream using my mouse which breaks the whole cool mouse-free experince.

I would be happy if after posting a tweet I could continue to scroll up without having to click back on the tweetie tweetstream view to focus it.

Pressing cmd + r while viewing a DM thread doesn't allow for the creation of a reply.
