No - that maybe AN answer - but it doesn't apply to me, not even close. I don't follow very many people on Twitter, and I don't post very often. Twitter is just linked to my identi.ca account, and puts my dents out as tweets for people who don't use identi.ca. The service and my account will be working fine in the application browser, and via API (from gnome-do to identi.ca to twitter) and still this site pops up.

Ben replied on October 01, 2009 14:53 to the question "Ping.fm Browser Toolbar for Google Chrome" in Ping.fm:
I thought Chromium/Chrome and safari would be similar - but I ended up with a zip folder and no idea about how to install... I don't agree with 'Chrome is the best browser', but it's a good choice for Ping.fm for it's fast opening time.
Right now I just made an application shortcut and run it in a separate window.-
