I've just upgraded my version and your time out still seemed to be too low. However, I investigated what might be the cause and resolved my server issues another way, (disabling ReverseDNS in SSH) and Expandrive works like a dream.

Thought you might want to know so you can offer a potential solution if anyone comes back at you with a similar issue.

Jeff, it works, although there has always been a fair amount of lag on the server. I'd say maybe 30-45 seconds.

Transmit, and previous versions of Expandrive, deal with this fine, yet the new one doesn't.

Timeout via SFTP
Expandrive , (OS X, v2.0.0) seems to have issues with its timeout compared to Transmit. It won\'t connect to my SFTP account on Slicehost and stops with a timeout error message.
