How do I save my battery power best when using qik?

Should I log out of qik after each stream or let the app go into standby mode? Does going into standby mode or 'hide' mode use up as little battery as quitting qik altogether?
Reason I ask is that I use qik and gravity to do live streams and tweets from my football club and I just need to make sure I am using the battery power to its minimum as it does wear down over 90 mins.
Any tips?

Does sharing location drain battery?

I notice that the GPS icon on my phone stays on when I'm filming and letting people know my location.
Is this what happens rather than it just taking a snapshot of my location at the beginning of filming?
If it is, then does that adversly effect my battery power? I find the battery drains quite rapidly when I use qik. Would taking off location help things.

Spaces on my Macbook pro is all over the place. I can be in space one and it will suddenly switch to space two. If I use safari for space one and word for space two my computer gets incredibly confused. Sometimes when I click on the word document it just takes me back to safari and won't let me use word at all. Am I being thick? Is there something about spaces I'm missing?

Headphones for the N96

I am having real problems finding a pair of headphones which will work loud enough with the N96.
I am using some Sony ones which are very loud when I use them with my ipod but are so quiet in my N96 I can hardly hear the music.
I have tried changing equalizer settings and have the volume up to 100% but still very quiet.
Is this to do with the headphones?
I hope someone can advise me.

I have an N96 and it's fully charged in the morning but by the time I've cycled to work using sports tracker, updated my emails hourly and played a little music my battery is almost fully run down.
Can that be right?
Any suggestions gratefully received .

I have put some tracks onto nokia music but can't for the life of me see how to transfer them to my phone.
Is it anything to do with the fact that I am using the nokia music application on Parallels on my mac? I can't believe you can't transfer music from the app to your phone. That's the whole point isn't it?
I have since downloaded music using pc suite, but wouldn't mind having the mystery of nokia music solved.

Nokia e71 and betfair

I downloaded the Betfair mobile application.
But when I try to access Betfair through the application I can't get on.
I am asked to put in my username and password and my keys don't work. I can sometimes press the 'c' key and a 't' will appear but that's about it.
Is this a fault with the download or the phone? I have downloaded the application twice now.
Any help gratefully recieved.

My sister has just opened an ovi share account but can't seem to create any contacts. She hits the 'contacts' button and then all it says is...
"Keep track of the people you share with the most. Add members or non-members as contacts to make sharing and messaging with them easier." But there is absolutely no provision to do so. Are we both being really stupid?

I sent my sister a channel to view which she did.
However, she then forgot her password and created a new account.
When I sent the channel again, ovi advised me she had already been sent this channel and she never got the link. How do I send her the link so that she can view it again?

I have sent some pictures to my sister who has herself opened an ovi account.
However there is absolutely no way that I can see how she can make that media part of her own account. The only way she can access it is through 'messages'.
Are we both missing something?
