Benjamin Melançon started following the question "how to (re)scan the watched folder for changes?" in Songbird.
A comment on the question "Monitor folders and auto-update library" in Songbird:
qways (or another kind soul) can you describe how to do the Rescan Library through the console?
At everyone: Note that Watch Folders addresses a basic part of this, is supposed to see new files that get added. – Benjamin Melançon, on October 30, 2009 23:25-

Benjamin Melançon asked a question in Toggl on July 11, 2009 21:03:
Is it possible to share projects between workspaces? Can we share projects between workspaces, not just among people? (So that someone on the other workspace would see clients and project names autocomplete, and not start duplicate projects.)
Or should all such projects be on one shared workspace to start with? If so, is it possible to move projects from one workspace to another? (It seems not.)
Thanks,
ben, Agaric

What happens to feed posts when what is sent is too long for twitter? For instance, the part of a Facebook status feed that is best is the description only (not the title, which prefaces with the person's first name, but this can be longer than Twitter can take. Right now, these statuses are disappearing. Of course, in Facebook's case, there is no public link to fall back to, but I could run their feed through my own Drupal aggregator, so:
If the option to replace long feed posts with the first 100 characters and short url, that would be fantastic.
Thank you.

The SQLite Database Browser from Sourceforge didn't work on my (Intel) mac. I tried editing the DB as text.
file:///Users/ben/Music/iTunes/iTunes%20Music/
file:///Volumes/STORAGE/SAM/Music/Songbird/
25,553 replaced.
"Songbird has detected that your Library is corrupt and cannot be read.
In order for Songbird to function correctly, your library needs to be deleted. This action cannot be undone. You will lose subscriptions, playlists and track metadata edited in Songbird."
I should have tried it in Vim rather than Smultron...
Deleting the library and re-indexing, of course, worked. A hell of a lot of ratings lost.

I know that Songbird doesn't move files around, but it must *store their location* somewhere. So if by hand in one configuration file somewhere or even a big find-replace for all files' metadata, it should be possible to tell songbird to look in a new location.
Right? I couldn't find where this might be poking around myself, though.-
