Thanks! Loic's drawing of his social map made me realize that it has become overwhelming. Even the services created to help with this only add to it. What I would like to do is scale back on my use of those sites, and make my domain the place to go (instead of my Facebook) and be able to bring in the data I input from other services, so my friends and family don't have to network hop to see it.
Oh, it was a small breadcrumb trail to find chi.mp. I've been subscribed to the Bokardo feed for a while, I saw the blog post about Own Your Identity, and I'm here. I can't wait to see chi.mp in action.

Just the other day, I wondered if something like this was under development, or were people too worried about coming up with the next FriendFeed.
Loic Le Meur made a blog post about wanting to bring his decentralized information back to his blog (http://www.loiclemeur.com/english/200...).
There is definitely a need for this.
