Prototying with such ease! Customers felt heard!I have been using Balsamiq at my company for a prototyping phase of of a large application with a number of different stakeholders. I have loved using the tool, and all stakeholders have been impressed with us as well.
One of the biggest unexpected benefits I've noticed is that stakeholders feel 'heard' when I use the tool in real time while working with them to accurately gather requirements and plan out the UI. The value of the stakeholders feeling heard is incredibly high.
Thank you!

berl started following the problem "Dragging an object to the canvas edge should auto scroll the canvas" in Balsamiq.

Better abbreviate long .bmml file names in Mockups title barI'm often working in Balsamiq with a file that's many folders deep, and thus has a *long* absolute file path name (e.g. C:\Documents and Settings \ user \ desktop \ Prototyping for project x date y \ results of working with person z \ filename.bmml").
The absolute path is often too long for the title bar to display all of it -- and so the title bar just cuts it off at the end with an ellipsis (...), BUT, the end of the file name is the most important part!
Therefore, here is the following enhancement suggestion: if the absolute file path is too long for the title bar, put the ellipsis in the *middle* of the file path so that you can display the entire name of the ".bmml" file.

Font change only affects top item in ComboBoxWhen I add multiple items to a comboBox, and I attempt to change the font, the font changes are *only* applied to the top item in the comboBox, even though all the items are displayed.
I often try to change the font size of all the font in the comboBox, for instance, when I want to make it smaller so that the whole widgit will fit somewhere on my mockup.
I'm on Mockups for Desktop v. 1.6.25

Grouping changes order of layersGrouping or ungrouping controls changes the layering order of the controls, which is unfortunate! I cannot recall if I observe this behavior consistently, but it is not uncommon for me to experience the following:
I group together a group box and a number of controls I placed inside of it. I then ungroup it to edit one of the controls, but POOF, the group box is now on top of all the controls it was once under, and I must 1st send the group box 'back' a few layers before I can edit what I want.
I'm on Balsamiq Mockups for Desktop version 1.6.25.

'Export All Snapshots...' fails! When I have multiple balsamiq mockups open, and I choose 'Export All Snapshots' from the Mockups menu, Balsamiq hangs for more than 10 minutes. This has happened 2 or 3 times. I haven't had the patience to wait and see if it ever finishes. This hand time seems strange to me, because when I export each mockup individually, the export takes only a few seconds.
In case it's relevant, I'm on a PC running Windows 2000 SP3.

Make order of projects draggable within Balsamiq!I often have 5-6 Mockup files open at once, and would like to be able to order the files on the bottom bar by dragging them (like you can drag tabs within an internet browser). This would be really useful!

Bug with opening Balsamiq Mockup FilesI'm on a PC running WIndows 2000 SP3. When I attempt to open multiple Mockups at once (e.g. by selecting 10 files from a file browser, and hitting 'enter'), only about 2 of the files open correctly -- the rest show tabs at the bottom of my screen with the correct file name, but the mockup is completely BLANK. I then have to close the mockup and open it individually. I would really love to be able to open multiple files at once!
