Emailing pics around or over 1mb does not work.

Emailing pictures over 1mb does not work. Only the text gets posted. This is either via e-mail, or directly from the MePing app.

Pictures around 800k or less usually always get posted without any problems.

Any eta on when posting larger pictures will work?

Same thing just happened to me! It shows in "Recent Posts" in my Ping.fm dashboard also.

What is going on?

As of this writing, Ping.fm does not support SMS text messages for updating your profiles, even though the website says it does.

You can, however, send an MMS [e-mail] from your phone to a special Ping.fm email address, created only for you. You can find that e-mail in your settings area in the Ping.fm settings area.
