Songbird does not show album art. Problem ignored?

Songbird is not displaying album art, despite my album art being saved to id3 tags. I've seen others with this problem, but they're going unanswered. I'm worried that this is a problem that's being purposely ignored.

Is there a solution to this problem? Is it a bug? Can someone answer what's going on?

The art displays correctly in the following programs: Media Monkey, Winamp, MP3 Tools, J River.

But not songbird. Obviously, this is a problem with Songbird. A big problem.

Same problem here, and I also have all my art saved to tags. Only a handful of albums display art, and there seems to be no rhyme or reason to it.
