A random thought, I obviously don't know TuneUp's inner workings so I might be on a completely wrong tangent here, but...
...is it possible, given that it's the second track each time that crashes TuneUp, that the first "save" is utilising iTunes' scripting language thingy, and then not "releasing" it for use a second time around?
I think that makes sense? But obviously, if I'm talking trash, ignore me :-P

Oh, and another thing: when TuneUp's crashed, if I exit iTunes, I get this error:

I was doing none of those things at the time. I'm not running any other programs.
I've tried with iTunes 8.2, I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling iTunes 8.2, then uninstalled that and tried installing iTunes 9.0. I've also tried uninstalling TuneUp and redownloading and reinstalling it... all with reboots inbetween each of those actions. I've also tried every combination of normal loading, and "Run As Administrator" too.
The weird thing is that it usually wants to save one track, but saving a second track (whether in one go with "save all", or clicking individual "save" button) will crash it. But when I re-load TuneUp, it will save that file (the one it crashed on last time) just fine. But then the next track will crash it again.
I'm running an AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 2.6GHz, with 4GB of RAM, and over 100GB free disk space, so definately nothing missing from the system specs.
Is it worth continuing to persue this, does anything in the most recent log file help, do you think it's fixable, or would it be better to cut my losses and ask for a refund?

They wouldn't change from "3" to "Three", because that's an English word, and they trade in non-English speaking countries - see http://www.tre.com for example.-

Also, I've noticed one thing. It doesn't seem to be dependent on the file that's being cleaned.
I just tried cleaning and saving "LazyTown - Bing Bang (Time To Dance).mp3", which crashed TuneUp first time, open re-opening TuneUp it was there, I clicked Save and it saved OK.
So it seems the file has no bearing on whether TuneUp crashes or not.

billbennett reported a problem in TuneUp Media on September 14, 2009 14:35:
TuneUp (Windows) keeps crashing when saving cleansHi,
I've just bought TuneUp (lifetime subscription), and I'm getting problems. I'm running Windows Vista with iTunes 8.2. Most of the time, TuneUp can clean one file without problem. However, if I drag a batch of more than one file (even 2), it'll crash and say "TuneUpApp has stopped working" - iTunes remains, but when I try to close iTunes it says something is still using the scripting application too.
The issue happens when I am saving the files (be it 1-by-1 or using the "save all" button).
I've read the forum posts about using --Debug mode and getting logs with the bat file, so I've uploaded the logs to http://is.gd/3gdVM in the hope that you can help. This log is from me trying to clean a batch of 6 files - it did a couple fine, then crashed.
