billj marked one of Jonathan Tarud's replies in Koombea as useful. Jonathan Tarud replied to the problem "Kalculator bug".
billj replied on September 09, 2008 04:25 to the idea "Feature request for Kalculator" in Koombea:
Jonathan,
Point well taken about the loupe invoking the keyboard.
My sense is that if there's no other way to correct a character in the middle of an expression, then you'll have to settle for the loupe and keyboard. Even though invoking the keyboard would be awkward in Kalculator, it would still be far less of a nuisance than having to retype everything after the correction.
Is it at least possible to bring up the keyboard in "number" mode?
Sorry that Apple has made this so difficult for you. They need to include a loupe as part of "calculator-style" keypads. I don't suppose there's a way for developers to make feature requests of Apple?
Bill
P.S. Did you mean to attach the screen shot to your reply?

Feature request for KalculatorHow about allowing one to edit what one types? Right now, Kalculator requires me to erase all the way back to the figure I want to change. Would be a lot nicer if Kalculator took advantage of iPhone's magnified insertion point feature.
