I can't get into the account page after log-in - so there's no way to change the API settings.

So this explains why I had 70 adds this morning... which was my 8th day on tweepme and my 1st day as a paid member.

What happens with the free first week, if tweepme's folow feature was blocked by Twitter?

Did you try changing your Twitter password? That should stop TweepMe from following people on your behalf, because TweepMe will not have your new Twitter credentials.
