I get this information as well in GMail IMAP messages from a certain sender. When I click on a message I see what looks like style sheet information. It looks like this:
strong, b, a, h3, h1, h2 {
color: #006699;
}
td {
font: 12px Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;
}
.table {
border: 1px solid #CCC;
margin-bottom: 8px;
}
.tr {
background: #FFFFFF;
}
.voice,
.onetwothree,
.dotcom
{
display: none;
}
.bullet{
font-family: Small Fonts;
color: #000;
}
.xsmall {
font: 10px Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;
}
.topLnk a:link,
.topLnk a:visited{
font-weight:bold;
text-decoration: none;
font-size: 11px;
}
.topLnk a:hover{
color: #FF9900;
font-weight:bold;
text-decoration: underline;

bimplebean gave praise in Postbox on August 30, 2009 17:07:
spam previewI LOVE how I can see the list of spam emails in my gmail spam folder without previewing ANY of them. I can see the list, press Ctrl+A to select them all and Del to DELETE them all, withhout viewing ANY of the content.
VERY VERY NICE.

Okay, I see it now.
Sadly, this fails the 'discoverability' test, in my humble opinion. I was unable to discover this on my own. I have been using computers for 30 years now, Windows for 20, and lately it seems like many software developers -- especially Microsoft -- are abandoning many user interface conventions. Menu accelerators are hidden -- sometimes the menus themselves are hidden! Buttons look like pictures, not buttons... etc .etc.
In this case I had examined all menus. Nowhere did I find any 'pick contacts from your address book' type of entry. I saw no buttons in the addressee section that looked relevant. The button you mention doesn't even look like a button - so it didn't even register to me. It was 'not easily discoverable.'
IMHO every function that is available to a user on any given screen should *at least* be available in a menu.
I am at least glad this functionality does exist, and now I know to explore those buttons on the right. Thanks.

Pick Email Recipients from a Contact ListWhen sending email to multiple contacts in my address book, I don't see any way to 'pick from a list.' For each intended recipient, I have to know their name.
In Outlook/Windows Live Mail, I can call up a list of contacts and check/select each one I want to send to, and whether they're a To:, Cc: or Bcc. I'd really recommend using a similar approach in Postbox.

Barry Seymour replied on July 03, 2009 17:39 to the question "Where'd the GMail Spam Folder go?" in Postbox:
I deleted my answer by mistake as well -- just a fumbly day for me -- so I'll repeat the solution here. GMail has a Labs feature that lets you show/hide folders in IMAP. I have activated that feature. However I accidentally unchecked the SPAM folder so it did not show up in PostBox. I re-checked that folder, restarted PostBox and it reappeared.
Everything is working as it should, except for my brain.
Barry Seymour asked a question in Postbox on July 03, 2009 16:05:
Where'd the GMail Spam Folder go?Where did the GMAIL Spam folder go? I thought it was displayed but just now I got some spam and could not find it to move it there. I had to load the web interface to mark the mail as spam.-

Keyboard Shortcut to Expand/Collapse grouped messagesWhen in the message list, if I'm on a set of grouped messages, a keyboard shortcut to expand/collapse the group would be nice. Perhaps the numeric plus and minus keys?
I do a lot of stuff via keyboard- this would be a big time saver for me.
Barry Seymour reported a problem in Postbox on June 18, 2009 21:35:
Keyboard Shortcut problem/questionThis is minor, but I have problems with tabbing between fields.
Create a new email
Type an address into the To: Field.
Hit Tab to go to the subject line and enter a subject
Hit Tab again to go to the body of the message.
Hit SHIFT-TAB to go BACKWARDS to the subject line. It doesn't work. You have to hit Shift-Tab a second time to get back to the subject line.

Another question/thought: It seemed to me that OE/WLM spend a lot of time downloading other IMAP folders in the background - really slows things up. I like that Postbox doesn't download a folder until you select it, and stops when you leave. (At least, I THINK that's how it works.)
However, is there a way to say "download these folders in the background at a very low priority and/or only when I'm not busy?" It'd be nice to have that happen if I leave PB open and walk away for a while - then searching and indexing would be more complete.
I have about 40gb of mail in my GMail IMAP folders, going back ten years! I'm probably a good test case for something... [g]
Thanks!
