A comment on the question "google doc writer and image insert" in Google:
Neil, since text ctrl-p works fine I guess on-paste TEXT upload behaviour of text on the clipboard works fine. Then, as a workaround, would it be possible to convert/code the image file stored in an image format into a intermediate home made text format? Then you upload the text and you can convert it back to the proper image format. – Bjorn, on September 26, 2008 01:50
